I'm not worried. This one PC is also not downloading very much work, it usually only has 3 or 4 WUs on it at any one time. It used to have a bunch more.

I think I figured it out and fixed it. I set all my projects on the PC to get no more work. Then I let it finish and upload the work. After that was done I uninstalled Boinc. Deleted the folder it was in. Emptyed the recycle bin, THEN reinstalled the same version of Boinc. Reattached to all the projects and none of them are in HP mode and I downloaded a bunch of work for each project (except Pirates - that does not have work too often - but I am attached).

I find it happens most on "badly-behaved" projects (SHA-1 & uFluids amongst others, not mentioning any names).

Looking back, if my BOINC Manager requests, say, 6 hours work, these projects seem to send 30 ½ hour shrubs, which triggers the High Priority mode.

Perchance they're trying to up their projects rating in the overall scheme of things, or maybe it's just sloppy programming. Laughing

On the PC it is happening on, I am running Cosmology, Einstein, Poem, Seti, Rosetta and TSP. Whenever any of them are running now, they are usually in High Priority mode. So unless they are all "Badly Behaved", that is not the case for me.

Geez, since I started running 5.10, I don't remember anything that didn't run "high priority" #ni-2

It started for me (on 1 of the 3 PCs) when I upgraded to the 5.10.30.
