Did anyone experience a slight bump for us in Lattice?

Yeah, so I got an email from Adam, the project admin for the Lattice BOINC. Apparently one of my machines overclaim (and was overgranted) credit. He stated: "Someone drew my attention to the fact that one of your hosts seriously overclaimed credit a couple of times: http://boinc.umiacs.umd.edu//results.php?hostid=4891

I'm going to go into the database and subtract this away. I've never seen this before, and I'm not sure how it happened. I'd appreciate if you can keep an eye on it and let me know if it happens again.

Thank you,
Adam"

If it hasn't been fixed yet you can see the insane credit. Razz

LOL... I checked check the Lattice project and I am currently number 1 for top computers

I've also noticced the subtraction.

Oh, well, it was good while it lasted. (as the actress said to the bishop)

It did it again last night or this morning... in any case i came in today to find the host computer at a Black Screen of Death with a strange error message and a general protection faults... several reboots later I have the same problem. I've tried changing the ribbon cable and even plugging it into the secondary ribbon slot but no luck. I have used both Spinrite and WD utilities and, oddly, the hard drive tests perfectly fine. At this point it appears as if either the disk controller itself has failed or the motherboard is failing... or both. Sad

Adam from Lattice email me again asking me to temporarily disable the client... to which I informed him there is no need as it no longer functions. Razz

ooo oooo... I don't wanna miss any of it... where do I go to see the Boinc projects forum? Smile

Oh, and my error... strange as it was... 'Trap 00000006' or 'Trap 0000000D' General Protection Fault turned out to be a relatively simple fix... had to use the XP Recovery Console to replace the NTLDR.... funny, normally when I have a problem with NTLDR I just get a message stating NTLDR is missing or corrupt! Razz Unfortunately, I tried about a half dozen fixes before that solution. Sad
