I have been running the cancer research programme for 5 years and don't check up on it very often. I was surprised to realise that it all came to an end over a week ago. I'm pleased I was able to make a contribution but sad I can't do any more. Let's hope we've given cancer a bloody nose at least. _________________ I'm losing my sanity. I've been looking at alternatives but, for personal reasons, cancer is my pet hate. I also want to be sure that I'm not crunching to make some multinational much richer.

My sentiments exactly, Ghost. And it's good to hear from you.

Spinhenge is cancer related as it's trying to impreve chemotherapy

Chemotherapy DOES NOT work. Chemotherapy destroys all the cells in the infected area, and the immune system. So I am not going to lose my CPU cycles on something that should be abandoned the moment a different and better treatment is found.
I am against both Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy, as in my experience they do more damage than good. _________________

That's because until recently there was no way to target the chemotherapy. That's been changing rapidly in recent months, they've become really good at targeting to avoid damaging untargeted areas and cells. I think, given some time to further master this process and improve the related technologies, it will become a must less hostile thing to live through. Traditional chemo? Yeah, totally violent to the body and may not even help. My grandmother told her doctor no when he wanted to put her into chemo. She's still going strong, and cancer free, 5 years later. _________________
