For those who may not know, SETI Beta is testing the Astropulse receiver data. It is already a rocky start, but some people like being on the edge. I have not done any SETI Beta, but some of you might be interested. The site is here. They have a bunch of work ready to send, if you are interested. _________________ Watch the movie about me The 4-1-4s: The Original Teenage Hackers (It is only about 12 minutes long.)

I have been crunching SETI Beta for quite some time now. The Astropulse WUs are a bit big, but are getting better at the splitting. The first WUs I got needed something like 24 hours to complete; the last one I have looks like an 8-10 hour WU. However I expect these things to be sorted, as many people did point out the initial problem, and it seems that the devs have listened and are responding. _________________
