Sorry about that, I copied a little more than I had intended. The BURP problem does not concern me, but after 35 hours of crunching Climateprediction I now get the same nonsense I had before I reset, detached and reattached the previous task. Am I just wasting my time here? In my account data the program is shown but without any computer minutes. All other tasks work fine, so unless someone has an idea how to save all this work I will just abort climateprediction, much as I like the program.

It's just a failure to connect message. I don't see anything indicating it's a project problem though, so I don't know. Try updating to 5.8.15 maybe? I gave up CPDN earlier this year because almost every WU pukes at some point. Felt dumb having 30,000+ credits for a project I'd only ever actually finished 3 WUs for.

If the problem is regarding the '(not requesting new work or reporting completed tasks) ' line Ive done a bit more research as I keep getting this from ABC...

I found a faq on Boinc(sorry don't have the link close at hand but I can probably find it again if anyone wishes it)
-edit- found link http://boinc-wiki.ath.cx/index.php?title=Note:_not_requesting_new_work_or_reporting_results
Basically the message isn't saying your machine is not requesting more work but that in THIS update request you are not specifically requesting more work or sending a response. In all odds this is due to you manually requesting an update.

saying that the 'not requesting more work' was related to your project resource share and Boinc would only request more work from certain projects as needed. I'm leaving my system alone for a few days and seeing if it ever grabs more ABC shrubs to work on. I'm running about 20% ABC on that machine so that implies to me I ought to be throwing them nearly 5 hours a day and havn't run a single second for them in about 36 hours now. Will give it a couple more days and see if it works out.
