BWHAAAAAA (evil laugh) Twisted Evil

I got a new pc at work today! DUAL CORE!!!!!! YESSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!

Now I can shrub twice as fast!!!!

Unfortunately this means the old machine is being retired from me (they are only allowing us to have 1 machine on the domain at work). Oh well. But overall I will be shrubbing more now!!!!!!

Not throwing it out, for now it sits under my desk. When I am sure the new one is set up properly and I don't need anything off the new one, then I get to nuke the old one and pass it along to someone else here.

Well, I really needed this level of speed. At work we are developin in Visual Studio 2005 and using SQL server as well. For the safest development bet, we do all of our developing and testing locally, then upload that code to a "development/testing" server to test it in a production like environment. When it passes that, then it goes live. Thus the need for the workhorses.

And it's really cool to have a good machine! Laughing

I AM one of the IT guys.....so no problem there. Besides shrubbing is one of the most harmeless things that people are doing on the work machines, I won't get into some of the things I have come across on the machines..... Rolling Eyes
