I was immensely saddened to read of the death of Robert Moog today.

He was a major influence on my early music tastes; I've still got my copy of the original vinyl Walter/Wendy Carlos' Switched-on Bach LP. Without him, music today would be very different.
Thank you, Robert, for enriching my life. _________________ Creationists believe they never evolved; I agree with them.

As I read the article, I suddenly realized the music I'm listening to was probably performed on a Moog synthesizer, courtesy of ELP.
The sound lives on!
