Sure there are always pains in working on "early" projects and uFluids really does live up to it's "alpha" billing but it seems to me there are frequent errors even well past the time they say they have them fixed. Of all the projects I am currently running it seems uFluids is the most likely to stop crunching and start looping like a loonie.

Anyone else coming across these troubles?

And yes, I am suspending for the time being.

I realized that a long time ago. I am working on another early project, RCN, and it seems to respond to the problems quicker than ufluids and it seems it is beyond ufluids as well. Sure you might get a lot of credit if you complete one of the long WU's. But it does not seem there is any work being done to make it better and get it out of alpha/beta.

I've only been crunching this one for a couple of weeks, and haven't really experienced any problems yet, although it does seem a bit aggressive with its work allocation (e.g. BOINC Manager asking for ½ days work and getting 50-60 hours worth).

I have accepted your advice and joined RCN. I especially like that is has Win & Lin versions.

And a quick plug for BAM: It sure made it easy to get all hosts joined up and with the right team. #ni-1
