Sure, you have to delete credit until you get to 5000. _________________ Fetch me the Holy Hand Grenade!

As for these nice little graphs, you pick our team, click on the little guys on the far right, then once you get down to where your name is, you'll be able to see a click box on the right. Click on the names you want then click compare. |
Tried this & got error message when it tried to draw the graphs. Oh well. _________________ Fetch me the Holy Hand Grenade!

I think you might have to turn on the afterburner, Sir John.
I've just passed 4000, and I seem to have accumulated 950 in my pending pile.
Might I be so bold as to suggest suspending your other 2 projects for a day or so? Even with that boost, I suspect I've got the measure of you. _________________ Creationists believe they never evolved; I agree with them.

It looks like you should lay off the chili for a while there.......
My machine is currently shrubbing like a dead hamster (very slowly). Not sure why. Did a reboot, maybe that will help.... _________________ Fetch me the Holy Hand Grenade!

Hey, wot's occurin'? You've lit the blue touchpaper, haven't you!
BOINCStats 1½ hrs ago: 3819 @ 158 RAC
Einstein site now: 4829 @ 248 RAC
How on earth did you manage 1000 Cobblywotsits in an hour?
My only hope now is for a lot of my pending to be converted to real credit!
And I see Dags is revving up as well!
I can see myself coming third here.
Quick, somebody, black out NY again:

Actually I didn't change what I was doing from over the weekend at all. My plan was simple (if not a little sneaky). My home pc is the rocket. I suspended everything BUT Einstein on it, then whenever a workunit got to 99%, I suspended it. Occassionally I let one finish and transmit back up to make it look like I was slowly making progress. By Sunday night (my time) I had 12 workunits almost finished. I resumed all of them and let them finish. Within an hour or so they all finished and transmitted up to the server. Luckily for me the credit for all of them was not pending or I could have been out of luck.
I didn't want you to realize just how much I had done and ramp yourself up too much. I wanted to seem like I was going along like normal. _________________ Fetch me the Holy Hand Grenade!

Ah, I hadn't thought of doing it that way. I suspected you'd disconnected from the world-wide-wibbly-web to stop BOINC from reporting back.
I didn't do anything to my work-rate until I saw you at 4800, when I suspended everything else, but too little, too late.
Again, congratulations on the success of your subterfuge. _________________ Creationists believe they never evolved; I agree with them.

I was concerned that you would look at just how many work units I had out and figure out what I was up to.... _________________ Fetch me the Holy Hand Grenade!

I must admit that was a very enjoyable contest, both of us starting Einstein on the same day and crunching at a very similar rate. I think a race to a target was much more fun than the usual "I'm about to overtake you" taunt.
Here's to another opportunity presenting itself. _________________ Creationists believe they never evolved; I agree with them.

I applaud you on the idea of the race. I hope more of the team tries it. I know I would not have gotten to 5000 in Einstein for another week if it was not for the race. _________________ Fetch me the Holy Hand Grenade!

If it wasn't for this race I wouldn't have reattached.
