Sounds like your firewall ( zonealarm) blocked avast maybe. try looking under the blocked programs list in zonealarm.

that woudl help alot if you dont have any as most spremade computer don't.

To help anwser BmfCb, Intel would be better at Folding.

Intel has always been better at "number crunching" and has a bigger cache to help with that, but Amd is fav. for gaming purposes. ...
